The ranking methodology

How we
rank artists.

Rankings under evidence review

Falastin.art uses a private research-based engine to assess documented professional records. Public positions and scores are released only after evidence and publication review.

Our approach

A career,
in context.

The framework considers professional development, exhibition history, international recognition, institutional presence, artistic education, and documented career achievements.

The evaluation draws on verifiable information from artist portfolios, professional CVs, museums, galleries, exhibition archives, and other reliable sources.

The framework considers both the depth and breadth of an artist's professional career. Rankings are recalculated as new verified information is reviewed.

Evidence and fairness

Incomplete records.
Fair treatment.

Incomplete information is not proof of limited achievement. An artist is marked Provisional while the individual ranking assessment is pending. Insufficient Data is used when a completed review finds that the available documentation is insufficient for ranking. Neither status receives a numerical score or ranking position. Ranking assessment is separate from source attribution and inclusion in the artist directory.

Publication principle

Recognition,
with perspective.

Our detailed scoring methodology and internal calculations are proprietary and are not publicly disclosed.

Rankings will reflect documented professional recognition and career achievements. They will not be definitive judgments of artistic quality, creativity, or cultural importance.
